The Road Safety Management course aims to teach participants the tasks of preparing and implementing road safety policies, including defining goals and targets, programming, implementing interventions, evaluation, and research. The course will provide guidelines, recommendations, and research findings concerning road safety management at the national level, point out essential elements for a systematic approach involving these elements, and discuss some of the significant issues. The course addresses the core issues of Road Safety by defining the problem at hand and then offering some proven ways and means by which Road Safety management can be enhanced under prevailing traffic conditions in national cities and regional corridors.
